Hardest work to date with the aspiration at first to help me use layer-techniques from maybe two years back. This is a revisit from [link] now really suited as a wallpaper.

The design was originally a logo for a common project for a game many years ago, they wanted a logo so I drew one on a very small piece of paper but never showed the idea to them. Some time after I found it again, and I decided this would be a good piece to practice my Photoshop skills on, aswell as finalizing my idea.
It's basically portraying in a clean way another world, the shape of it resembles an eye (lean your head and you'll see).

I hope you'll like it :)

Amazing detail in the inner parts of the eye.

That's awesome.
I've been trying to form a good eye shaped mask with my very simplistic programs, for an animated logo.
You used Photoshop?

Yes, Photoshop.
However, I have to remind you that this image wasn't "simplistically" done, I think it's up to like 50-60 layers (however I was learning so that's most likely the reason for the absurd amount of layers). And for an animated logo... I think ImageReady? *shrugs*
Photoshop can't handle animations, that much I know though.

Yea, I just figured I'd find something with the eye shape, make all my frames, then use my animation software.

What do you the of Fireworks? My school uses it and I don't seem to have much trouble with it.
